Only 3 more days until we head to Jacksonville for some fun in the sun.

We hope we can hit the beach up, but it may still be a little cold for L & L.

See you soon Pappa Frosty and Emma!

Siblings

Aren't they the cutest! They melt my heart!
So sweet to each other!
I can only hope it stays this way!

6 Months

I can;t believe Libbie is already 6 months. I find myself wanting to slow her down where as I was wanting to speed things up with Landon. No matter how much I try, she keeps growing and doing.

Libbie is rolling over, both ways. She's reaching for things and when on her belly she will spin herself around to get a new view or grab something she wants. She can sit up on her own, but we can't quite leave her be, yet. She's talking all the time and always has a smile to share. Libbie loves to watch Landon and wants to grab & touch him all the time. Landon, on the other hand, wants nothing to do with it and is often telling Libbie: "No touching Wibbie" or "No, Wibbie, dats Landon's".

We celebrated Libbie's 1/2 birthday with 1/2 a cake, just like we did for Landon.
Libbie has also been eating foods. She's been through most of the cereals (rice, whole wheat, oatmeal) and Has been introduced to vegetables. I spent part of Sunday preparing homemade baby food. I made zucchini, lima beans, carrots, and green beans and she LOVES them all! I'm hoping she is a much better eater than Landon.
We've been playing outside a lot lately. The weather has been gorgeous so the kids come home and go straight to the yard. Landon kicks his soccer ball while Libbie sits in her exersaucer.
We're getting ready to spend more days outside, especially once spring break hits!

Soccer Begins

Friday was the unofficial start to the West Potomac soccer season. The team played a scrimmage game against Langley HS. Luckily we were able to make the game since it was at 4:30. Unfortunately the boys lost 2-1 with the 2nd goal by Langley coming from a penalty kick, tough luck.
Landon had a great time at the game kicking the soccer ball around. He looks like runner here to me!
Libbie stayed bundled up during the game.
Only for a short time did Landon hang out on the bleachers to watch the game.
We can't wait for the season to really get going. Hopefully we'll be able to make to a few more games this season.

We're still here!

I know I have been a bad blogger. Life is pretty crazy around here. Andrew has started soccer so it's just me and the kids in the afternoon up until bedtime. I've started working out for about 30-45 min before work...that means I'm up at 4 and at the gym by 4:30. I know it sounds crazy but I actually enjoy that time all by myself early in the morning. I feel as though my evenings are so jam packed that I have no time to take pictures or blog. I did find time tonight...
