Yesterday, we left Canada for home. Since its been a long week and an even busier weekend, (plus, Andrew doesn't have to be at work until Tuesday), we decided to break the trip up. Last night we made it to Erie, Pennsylvania, which is about halfway.
Andrew and I have been debating whether or not Pennsylvania counts as a state that Landon has visited. We both agree that traveling through the state does not count as a visited state, but we have differing views on what makes it count. Andrew thinks staying the night counts as being visited. I, on the other hand, think we have to visit or see someone/something in order to make it count, not necessarily stay the night in the state. As I post this, I am also searching to find some sight to see in Erie, which would make it definite, but there isn't much to see!
What do you all think? Does Pennsylvania count?

I agree, driving through does not count unless you stop to visit something. But our rule is if you stay over night then it counts. You could go see Lake Erie to make it count!
Oh yes it counts. how fun see you guys tonight. martina
