Memorial Weekend

This past weekend, we made a last minute trip to New Jersey to visit some of Andrew's family. Mindy was flown up from Jacksonville, so we thought, "why not?" Andrew's parents picked up Mindy from the airport on Friday on their way to New Jersey and we headed up on Saturday morning.

Our first stop was to visit Andrew's Great-Uncle, Uncle Ray. This was the first time Uncle Ray was able to meet Libbie.

Uncle Ray has a beautiful home on a lake so we couldn't resist taking a family photo...too bad Landon wasn't looking.
To keep Libbie contained we had to put her in a play pen. She didn't mind all that much.
Daddy took Landon for a ride on the paddle boat. Landon could have stayed out there all evening.

On Sunday we headed to a quaint town, Smithville, for some shopping and gaming for Landon. We headed there with Aunt Connie, Uncle Gary and Andrew's cousin Erin.
After Smithville, Connie and Gary hosted a since bar-b-que at their home. Landon and Libbie posed with Grandpa,

Last weekend we took Libbie to our usual photo place, Portrait Innovations. It's nothing special but fairly inexpensive for the "standard" 3, 6, and 9 month photos. We spent a little more this time since I brought outfit changes for Libbie, so of course I wanted more than just one pose in one outfit.

We started off in this adorable outfit my Grandmother bought Libbie for Christmas.

The switched into this super cute outfit my Aunt bought her right after Libbie was born. I have been dying to put Libbie in this since the day it arrived!

These bathtub ones were a spur of the moment but turned out cute. Andrew and I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of this grin in the future.

This was her Easter dress and I just wanted to get a few more pictures in it but most of these didn't turn out well.

We're missing...

THE BEACH!

When in Florida, we were able to devote one afternoon to the beach and we had a great time! We drove out with Danny and his girlfriend Ali and Sean, KC, and the kids also met us there. Landon was loving it and Libbie enjoyed the sun, too.

We can't wait to hit the beach this summer. We have a vacation in Michigan planned and another in Delaware. Of course, when we head to Florida for the end of the summer we'll head to the beach again. We can't wait!

Libbie on the Move

For the last couple weeks Libbie has been trying to figure out how to crawl. She hasn't quite got it down, but she definitely knows how to make her arms work for her. She tries to use her legs but doesn't know how to work her arms & legs together. It won't be long until we have two VERY mobile children in the house...Yikes!
