Wedding Day!
Saturday was the big day and we were all praying for great weather. It turned out to be a beautiful day for the wedding. The ceremony was beautiful and I was so happy to be a part of it. The reception, like most, was a great party with family and friends. Congratulations Brian and Debbie! We're so happy for you two!
Rehearsal Dinner
Well Friday was a little worrisome. The weather had been pretty nice all week and it decided to pour the day of the rehearsal dinner. Luckily it cleared up before everyone showed up for dinner. The rehearsal dinner was at the Edney (Debbie's family) cottage. It was a North Carolina bar-b-que and a great time!
Great food!

Oh! Canada
We've made it to Huntsville, Ontario! We haven't been doing too much, just relaxing before all the family come in and the craziness begins.
Along the side of the roads, you may encounter a rock formation such as this. It's an inuk and it's Indian meaning good travels.
No beer or liquor in the grocery stores. You have to go to a liquor store, carrying wine, liquor, and beer. Or,you can go to the...
When you walk in, there are no fridges holding the beers. One bottle of each beer is displayed on the wall. You put the order and then it come out to you on a belt.
Landon & Papa Frosty at Penn Lake
It's a tradition for Debbie's (Brian's fiance) family to stop at Webers for hamburgers on their way home. It's just on the side of the road and you eat at picnic tables or inside old train cars. We decided to stop too.

Well...I wanted to post pictures of Niagara at Night. Every night the falls are lit up with different colors of light and fireworks are set off on Friday and Sunday night. Unfortunately, my battery was dying so it didn't save the pictures I took:( It was really pretty and the fireworks were awesome. I decided to post more Niagara pictures that I took on Monday before we left.
We all decided to do one more attraction, Journey behind the Falls before we headed out to Huntsville. You are able to go directly under the Falls in a few places and then there is a place yu can view Horseshoe falls looking up.

You would never believe that a 7 year old survived this fall...but he did

Niagara Falls (Canada side)
Around 2pm we met my family at the hotel in Canada, then headed out to view the falls from the other side. I have to say that the view is much better from Canada. It's more crowded and touristy but the view was great!
American Falls
American Falls
My cousin Maureen came along for the trip. We all rode the Maid of the Mist, which is a boat ride that take you right up to the falls. It was really cool to get so close. All but Dad and Danny managed to stay pretty dry.

Niagara Falls (US side)
This morning, Andrew, Landon, and I headed to Niagara Falls on the US side while my family was driving to Canada from Ohio. It started out as a gloomy, rainy day, but it stopped raining for us to walk around. The falls were beautiful!
We decided to take the cave of the mist tour and venture down (175 ft) into the gorge. It was a great view from the bottom.
Before we could head down, everyone is given a poncho. It's pretty windy and you can get soaking wet. Everyone is also given very stylish sandals to wear. Andrew was not too excited about wearing these!

On Our Way
We're on our way to Canada...
Since we have to go through Buffalo, NY, we decided to stop here for a night to visit with some of Andrew's family members. We went over for a bar-b-que and it was great for both Andrew and I. We were able to introduce Landon to some more family, plus I was able to meet some family members that I hadn't met and Andrew hadn't seen in awhile. We had a great time.
Everyone at the bar-b-que
Tomorrow we are going to the New York side of Niagara Falls then later we will meet my family on the Canada side of Niagara Falls to do some more sightseeing. We can't wait!
